Do you like mysteries? Hunting for treasures? Traveling around the world? Facing untold dangers? Then this series of books is for you. I am amazed at the adventures that Amy and Dan face and how they figure out how to get out of some of the most interesting traps. You see, Amy and Dan decided to join in the hunt of a treasure that would lead them to a treasure that would give them untold riches and power. They find out about the 39 clues after their grandmother dies. She left her family the choice of one million dollars or to join in the hunt. Amy and Dan decide that their grandmother really wanted them to find the treasure and now face all kinds of adventures.
As Amy and Dan search for the clues, they also learn about history and some of the greatest characters in history. They learn about many little known men and women in history that really had great affects on the world. (I tell you about some of them, but then you may not want to read the books.)
I will admit that the most intriguing part of this series is not the adventures that Amy and Dan face or even the other characters that they interact with. It is the fact that each book is written by a different author. You might think that this would make things confusing and hard to follow but it does not. I am currently reading Book 6 (Book 8 is the released in April) and have enjoyed everyone. I have noticed changes in the writing styles from book to book but it does not distract from the story.
